Children’s Scholarship Program

Each year, our Long Term Disability Plan Administrators, California Public Safety Administrators, Inc., donate three scholarships to the children of CLEA Plan Participants.

The 2026 Scholarship distribution will consist of $3,000 – three awards of $1,000 each.

Two Scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors enrolling at a community college, university, vocational school, or technical school.

One Scholarship will be awarded to students continuing their studies at a community college, university, vocational school, or technical school.

This is a valuable opportunity to help your children pursue their higher-education goals through scholarship funding!

Congratulations to the 2026 Recipients

We are very pleased to announce the following three students who have been awarded the CLEA Children’s Scholarships for 2026:

High School Recipients

Makayla Boone – graduating from El Camino High School in Oceanside, CA. She will be attending Vanguard University, where she plans to major in Nursing. Mikayla hopes to work with newborns in the NICU, dedicating her career to caring for infants and supporting families during critical moments.  Parent:  Jonathan Boone – Oceanside Police Department

Grace VanOstrand-Todd – graduating from Tehachapi High School in Tehachapi, CA. She will be attending Point Loma Nazarene University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Grace aspires to become an elementary school teacher and hopes to make a lasting difference in her students’ lives, just as her own teachers did for her. College Recipient

Macy Peay – currently attending San Diego State University and majoring in Biology. Macy plans to become a Physician Assistant Specializing in Orthopedics, with a focus on helping patients regain strength, mobility, and quality of life. Parent: Steve Peay – Plumas County Sheriff’s Office
